About Fjord Oak Winery
As the fourth winery in the Winters Highlands AVA, we are proud to build a strong reputation of crafting high-quality wines that reflect the hardworking values of our town. With a focus on growing grapes that add complexity to wines while ensuring soil health is maintained in the long-run, we are building a bright future that's worth celebrating. We are grateful that you are here with us on this journey and look forward to share it with you.
Estate Vineyard with Purpose
We planted our estate vineyard along Putah Creek in 2021 with Tempranillo and Sémillon grapes. To ensure high-quality grapes, we've implemented organic and sustainable growing practices, including the use of cover crops as soil boosters and pollinator habitats. We are planting a hedgerow along the road to enhance this habitat and promote beneficial insect populations.

Focus on Small Lot Wines
Our first vintage was in 2023 when we produced 2 barrels, 48 cases, of our first Cabernet Sauvignon. We've grown a bit from that, but remain focused on small-lot wines of 1-4 barrels for nearly all of the varietals we make. Take a look at our current offerings.

Unique Varietals
You won't see chardonnay on our list of wines. We craft wines that do well in our climate and embrace the unique varietals. You'll find Tempranillo, Sémillon, Chenin Blanc, and more. See our wines that are currently aging for a glimpse of what's to come.
